Do you have any questions?

Below is a list of commonly asked questions about URL shortening, QR codes and our service in general. If you cannot find the answer below, contact us for further assistance.

Yes, shortlinks are case sensitive. So remember to always use the code generated by the system exactly as provided.
Linkzi records a full request everytime a user clicks on your short link, or scan the QR code. The record currently includes the event timestamp, short link and channel used, the browser type,user IP address and the target addressed provided. For Professional and Enterprise subscribers, we also include the user's country.
Yes, Professional and Enterprise subscribers have access to our secure API (application programming interface) which allows for other systems to generate short links within the same subscription.
Short links generated on the Free account are automatically expired after 6 months. For Professional and Enterprise subscribers, expiry is optional and can be configured to redirect users to a failover URL. Otherwise, your links will remain active for the duration of the subscription
A Linkzi short link is a URL that has been shortened using the Linkzi service. Linkzi allows users to convert long URLs into shorter, more manageable links, making them easier to share and track. These short links are particularly useful for social media posts, emails, SMS messages, and any other contexts where space is limited or a cleaner appearance is preferred.
A QR code (Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional barcode) which can be scanned by a camera or smartphone to quickly retrieve information. When a user scans a Linkzi QR code their phone will open the link on their default browser and be redirected to the target URL. In the background, Linkzi will log the scan and include it in the link performance analytics.
